Nadine Kerl
Nadine is one of the founders of Overture Band Programs, Inc. She teaches at St. John the Baptist School in Waunakee, St. Ann School in Stoughton, St. Ambrose Academy, the Holy Family Homeschoolers and is one of the administrators for Overture Band Programs. She holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from UW-Madison and has taught band in private and parochial schools in the Madison area since 1991. Nadine lives on a farm near Stoughton. She enjoys rubber stamping, knitting, crocheting, gardening and playing piano.
Kelli Selje
Kelli is one of the founders of Overture Band Programs, Inc. She teaches at St. James School, Sacred Hearts School, St. Francis Xavier School, St. Dennis School, Madison Community Montessori School, and is one of the administrators for Overture Band Programs. Kelli holds a Bachelor of Music degree from UW-Whitewater and has been teaching band for over 25 years. Kelli lives on a farm near Columbus with her husband and son where they raise cattle, chickens and field crops.
Yvonne Schwinge
Yvonne has worked for Overture Band Programs since its inception in 2004. She teaches at High Point Christian School, Edgewood Campus School and Wingra School. Yvonne holds a Bachelor of Music Education and a Bachelor of Music in Performance from Ithaca College in New York and a Master of Music in Performance degree from the University of Michigan. She has also taught band for Musical Youth, Inc. and South Beloit CUSD #320.
Michael Mills
Michael joined the Overture Band Programs faculty in February 2023. He teaches at Immaculate Heart of Mary School in Monona, where he also serves as Director of Sacred Music. Michael is a Lodi native and holds the Bachelor of Music in Organ Performance and Master of Music in Church Music degrees from the University of Kansas. He has served as music director for churches in Kansas and Wisconsin. Preparing the next generation of musicians has been an important part of Michael’s work through leading children’s choirs, private instruction, and teaching courses in the history of art and music. Prior to his formal training in organ and conducting, Michael studied trumpet for 7 years through Overture Band Programs and is excited to be back as an instructor!
Linda Krueger
Hello! My name is Linda Krueger. I am teaching at St. Maria Goretti School and St. Peter Catholic School. I play Clarinet, Piano, Pipe Organ, Autoharp, and love to folk dance! Teaching music is a major part of my life. Recently I completed 13 years of classroom music at St. James Catholic School in Madison. I live in Madison now but grew up in Minnesota. As a clarinetist I’ve played with Concert Bands, Symphony Orchestras, Marching Bands and Polka Bands. I have experience teaching all ages and look forward to helping young students learn to play band instruments!
Lyle Raymond
Lyle began teaching at Blessed Sacrament and Eagle schools in the fall of 2023. He grew up in Beaver Dam, Wisconsin and attended the University of Wisconsin - Whitewater, where he earned a Bachelor of Music degree, specializing in music education, theory, and history. Since then, he has been teaching in a variety of classrooms, small group, and one-on-one settings. As a guitarist, Lyle performs regularly throughout the Great Lakes area.
